I believe that is called a “sliced apple”.
That’s just a cut up apple.
The sandwich also appears to contain things a Club sandwich normally doesn’t contain.

Why do people do this? There is neither a clubhouse sandwich or any fries in this image.
This looks like a great lunch but why is it so common to call things what they aren’t? “Fries” isn’t a shape. Apple sticks? Slices? Roughly julienned apples?
Put pork flavoured soy on whatever you want, but why the need to call it vegan bacon ya know?
Might taste just fine but looking at it, that’s not a form of presentation I’d consider as ‘food porn’.
Not gonna lie, I was pretty excited to find out what apple fries were before realising you just sliced up sticks of raw apple and put it on a plate. Looks like a nice sandwich in any case. Got that nice Hotel Food look.
