Upgrade your friends. But don’t abandon the soundtrack of your life. It’s a vital piece of the narrative. 🎧

yea relatabke this happens when thwy let me choosd the music, it always ends up at a weird mix of chiptune, power metal, classical, jazz, funk and “using only windows error sounds” among many other things you usually wouldnt find in the playlist such as floppotron videos or “megalovania but every instrument is a metal pipe”

I want an artist that combines all four of that into an album, even if by techno it might mean “just some form of electronic music, and not necessarily techno”.

Go to a science fiction convention. Seriously. There’s some wild live music. I wouldn’t be surprised if you heard it there.

I used to go to several in the Northeast US, like Arisia, Lunacon, Philcon, Boscone. Of course yor best bet would be WorldCon.

See if Heilung does it for you. It’s light on the sea shanties, but covers the rest pretty well. Check out their live performance videos on YouTube too, the stage show is arguably the best part.

FR tho, if you get the aux you need to get the vibe. If anybody but you is enjoying the noise you put through them ears then you kinda failed the job.

(also, I’m not saying I don’t like techno, sea shanties, gregorian chants and whatnot…)

Mix in some rap, old school country, jazz, and dubstep with that group and you have an exact replica of one of my playlists

When CD burners first became affordable, I made mixes.

150 songs. I had a disk that started with pop, moved to metal, back to easy listening and ended with classical.

What does everyone do? Insert mp3-CD and hit shuffle.

Megadeath: Sweating Bullets -> Grieg In the Hall of the Mountain King -> MJ Smooth Criminal
