I think this is considered prog metal, not sure. But the band Animals as Companions. I think they are fucking awesome. Combat Cartography (iirc) is a awesome track check out.

I’m not into rock/metal enough to know all the genres that well, but alot of the heavier stuff has singers that just ruin it for me. Animals deals with that in Mt favorite way, no singer.

I love Jesters Dance by In Flames, but that seems to be one of the few they have without singing.
