      Probably true, but humour is pretty human-specific, so that’s a bit like saying we’re the most conventionally attractive by human standards.

        Not really, all it requires is theory of mind, social norms, and the ability to anticipate outcomes. Plenty of animals exhibit comedic behavior patterns, but they all know we’re funnier.

          Really? As in non-primates that respond positively to humorous displays? Mostly I just see people anthropomorphising animals doing accidentally funny things, sometimes including legit pain or fear responses.

                  No offense, but you’re a random internet person to me. I wasn’t about to go on a wild goose chase through cancerous clickbait sites just on your say-so. Basically, you need to give a more specific source, or I don’t believe you.
