Who knows if the much teased Oblivion remake or remaster is happening, but a glossy makeover risks missing the point. Morrowind, meanwhile, is ripe for it.

    First person dungeon crawlers are my jam but Daggerfall absolutely does not hold up. It’d need a total reconceptualization.

      Maybe a good chunk of my opinion on it is due to having grown up with that era of crawlers. Like I said, maybe I’m an odd duck on this one but I still play Daggerfall occasionally to this day. 🤷‍♂️
