Russian influence plunging america into a recession or their wet dream depression/schism is more of a threat to your life then MS-13, which I would guess is low odds.
By this same logic you should be in the streets protesting cars because you could literally die anytime you walk out your front door.
Depressions are survivable. Being chopped up with a machete is not.
We were talking odds. Depression would dramatically increase everyone’s odds of dying. You think gangs are bad now. Let’s bring on mass economic strife.

Dude, it’s like you’re worried about dying of cancer while swimming in a lake full of alligators.
Also, if you’re that worried about a depression making crime worse, wouldn’t it be better if we deported all the foreign gang members first? Seems like that would at least slightly improve the odds of surviving.
