They come in 3 motor versions, 2 in the back, 1 in the front, so you might right about the uneven power distribution.
2 in the back, one in the front
On an electric vehicle, I think we call that the shocker.
Most all wheel drive systems work like this I think. Audi Quattro for instance is 60/40 if I’m not mistaken.
