Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- A new poll has revealed alarming support among Israeli Jews for the ethnic cleansing in Gaza. The survey, published Thursday in Haaretz, shows that 82% of Jewish Israelis back the idea of expelling native Palestinians from the strip.

The poll was conducted in March by one of the researchers on behalf of Penn State University. It surveyed 1,005 Jewish respondents across Israel.

Support for forced expulsions has spiked. 82% support expelling all Palestinians from Gaza. Over half—56%—also back expelling Native Palestinians who are citizens of Israel. In 2003, support for these views was lower at 45% and 31%, respectively.

The trend is strongest among younger generations. Among Jewish Israelis under 40, 66% support expelling native Palestinian citizens, and 58% support repeating the Jericho conquest. Only 9% of men under 40—those most likely to serve in the army—rejected all notions of expulsion or genocide.

Israelis are true monsters. It makes me sick to be on the same planet as these scum. What a failure of humanity that such a sick society was able to fester.

Nothing will happen to them because they are an integral part of US power in the region. It’s not about an individual in the white house. The last president was just as loyal (if not more) the majority of the house and senate are loyal to them, even the majority of the “disloyal” elected officials are only mildly opposed to specific actions.

Sorry. I didn’t mean to direct to an specific president. It applies to any US president. Trump is a bit more aggressive, but he is like this about anything.

Sometimes you see a headline like this and you just have to stop for a moment and reflect on how mindboggling it is that genocidality could become so popular in a society. The fact is of course that this is the character of every genocide in history: genocides only happen if most people in a society passively or actively accept them. But when oneself is so far removed from that cultural context that enables this most horrible of crimes to happen, it becomes difficult to even fathom how a society could end up in a situation where one could meet ten people in the dominant group and find that nine of them want the marginalized group — largely children no less! — reduced to bags of nondescript red mush. Even the tenth person is probably still incredibly racist and a tacit supporter of genocide, just not an active supporter of it.

It feels cliché to mention how Zionist settlers are themselves to a pretty large extent descended from the survivors of pogroms and one of the worst genocides in human history, because the apparent irony of that is just not what makes the genocidality of so-called “Jewish” “Israelis” so horrifying, revolting, and tragic. People are not their great-grandparents, and Zionists, although they use Jewish aesthetics, are still a product of the cultural climate of Anglo settlerism and German volkism more than they are a product of anything Jewish. The Zionist settlers are, in a word, “not Jews”.

No, this is a human matter, not an ethnoreligious one. It’s a matter of me expecting to be able to look a member of my own species in the eyes and see a soul capable of empathy; all human beings are after all cousins if you go back far enough, and I would gladly welcome anyone as my own family. So even if people’s actions hurt others, I like to believe that people are largely just misguided and could be set on a better path, that people simply mean well but don’t always know how to do well.

But Zionists, in the way they talk, in the way they act, in the lack of any brightness in their eyes, there is just… no humanity left. Whatever humanity the Zionist settlers had was “left at the door” like shoes and coats when they decided to become settlers, and they’ll put their shoes and coats back on when the wretched, moribund system they benefit from finally collapses on them, which will be soon, God willing. And perhaps then, and only then, to paraphrase my own favorite ex-Zionist, ĉiu vidos en sia proksimulo nur homon kaj fraton.everyone will see in their neighbor only a man and a brother.

If you can’t tell the difference between Jewish people and the Israeli government you might have just been antisemitic already

Worth noting that you’re going to have a lot more Zionists in Israel than in the general population.

At least 1/3 of the protesters that show up for Palestine in my woods are Jewish Voices for Peace folks.

      Israel is an antisemitic project.

A society can function only when the state of exception is applied appropriately and if there are punishments when there is overstepping,.

Israelis are conditioned into thinking that there are only the former and none of the latter.

    and they are proven right

I ultimately agree with the premise, which is why under any other context I don’t focus on Zionists humanity, but their actions and ideology, but this was a quick, slightly snarky, reply to someone saying Zionists make him lose faith in humanity.

A better way to have phrased it would have been “Zionists don’t represent humanity”.

But also, I don’t think a negative comment online about the modern day Nazis being inhuman due to their ideology which denies basic human values is akin to the systemic dehumanization Nazis performed from a position of almost absolute power on innocent groups who weren’t conducting a heinous genocide.

Nazis dehumanized vulnerable groups in a genocidal effort. My words are specifically towards denouncing the followers of Zionist ideology for enaging in those same genocidal efforts.

Again, your intentions are absolutely valid but I don’t think the whole “this is literal Nazi shit, do better” is necessary and on some level actually lessens the harm of what Nazis actually did, similar to how my comment accidentally leaned into their rhetoric.

The main thing we learned from the Germans was almost any onecould do unspeakable things with enough propaganda and authority pressure. Most countries did not learn and change enough to stop such an event from occurring again, they assumed it was just a fault in German culture and most of the attempt to pursue and convict Nazis ceased with most getting away with their crimes against humanity. We determined no way to deprogram Nazism.

Maybe this spin of Nazism across the globe and the horrors it is unleashing will put in place the right reaction when popularism starts lying to the public to gain votes and stop it before it becomes a movement.

Israel keeps indoctrinating them from their youth that if they don’t kill all the Arabs that the Arab will put them in a concentration camp and kill them.

Pretty similar how Hitler told the Germans that the Jews were trying to eradicate all the white people.

antisemitism has been an important tool for the occupation regime of west palestine. it uses it to force migration to feed its frontier so it can expand and legitimise itself as a “the jewish homeland”. thats why they keep collaborating with fascists all the way back to, including, and even beyond the nazis.

The colonial situation dehumanizes the colonized and the colonizer. While the colonized are treated worse than animals, the colonizers treat themselves like gods (and, in the process, turn into monsters).

I want to believe this, but an article on a site I’ve never heard of which provides zero sources is not really enough to be trustworthy
