Blazor looks really cool!

Yeah, the original Super Tic Tac Toe is like that, but I decided to change it a bit because it seemed more intuitive when playing.

There can also be two game modes to choose from before playing that includes the original, I’m not planning on that right now but I’d be very glad with a PR for it if someone makes that effort

I had some major updates, it has an AI mode now so it’s much more enjoyable for someone to play alone

The potential monetization being the donations to give them a living wage? What exactly is the criticism about, that they shouldn’t get a living wage through donations and should rather make the platform paid or ruin it with ads?

Why do so many people get off on attacking the idea of FOSS, much of the software that is running our everyday lives is supported through FOSS (and lots of them are also being donated to so that the devs can afford to put food on their tables).

There are also many devs (on Lemmy as well) that contribute a lot without being paid, simply because they like the project, want to make it better, and want to learn by doing.

There’s no such thing as ‘apolitical’. The very idea of leaving politics to our superior politicians is what brought us and keeps us in this state.

This is not at all a political issue however. This is about not being a trash human being. Being racist is not a political opinion, it’s spreading hatred in the world and being a waste of skin.

Most big instances federate with everyone

This is basically what I don’t understand, how would they federate with me if they don’t know I exist? Would I have to ask a big instance to federate with me first and then the rest would find me from there perhaps?

I’m not a psychologist but judging from what you say, you seem to be at the phase of acceptance.

If you haven’t and still can, you should apologise to whoever you hurt, even if that’s yourself.

Recognise what led you there, what where your thoughts and feelings that made you do it. Then try your hardest not to do it again.

Don’t beat yourself up over it, everyone makes mistakes, big and small.

Let the mistake change you for the better, mistakes are the best and most effective teachers if you decide to listen to them.

Move on, but make sure to understand and forgive yourself and to let the mistake improve you.

Exactly this. I’m fortunate enough that the skills I’m good at have a lot of demand at the moment, but people I know that are more hard working than I am and very talented, struggle to get by just because their job for some reason is considered less worthy to pay for.

Wanting to maintain this rotten system is the purest form of greed.

That’s probably true… It would be nice if people would voluntarily read books at all ages and get educated so that they can have actual political beliefs instead of ‘x party good, y party bad’

Idk what you subscribed to but my feed was always very lighthearted, maybe it’s because I avoided politics

People here are way to eager to get into political arguments out of nowhere, usually in bad faith. The front-page is covered with doomscrolling content, being here too long makes me miserable and hopeless. The rest of the content is mostly tech stuff, which can only be interesting for so long.

What I miss from Reddit, is the variety of diverse communities, people having fun and polite conversations, a sense of humor, and a lot of happy content or stuff that’s interesting but not limited to tech.

At this point, I feel like the technology is much better and the user base much larger, but the user group is so extremely specific.

I wish people from all political spectrums would engage in a civil conversation here and not reduce it to mockery and attacking. What’s the point of discussion if no one leaves with something new to think?

Yes unfortunately, what I mean by ‘we’ is of course the ruling classes and the rich who don’t give a flying fuck if they’re the only ones left on the planet. Sadly for them they will soon realize that they need other people too in order to survive but it will be already too late then.

I went through that exact problem, I had my doubts that I would ever get faster but eventually I did.

I insisted on typing the correct way despite being slow even at work, unless I was sharing screen with someone and didn’t want to seem like I can’t even type lol

I also did every step of the site I mentioned, it helped very much in building the initial muscle memory. Once the muscle memory was there, I started to get faster and faster without much effort. The hardest part is achieving that initial muscle memory even if it’s slow.

I’m also interested in learning Chinese for the same reason, I downloaded a good app for basics and have learned a bit but it’s a long long way from anything actually useful.
