First of all, Hong Kong has been a part of China a great many centuries before the US had started their first genocide (and boy did they start early) and was wrested from them by colonial violence, like Palestine was wrested by the colonizing Europeans. Violence of the oppressed isn’t equal to the violence of the oppressor as much as libs like to clutch their pearls about it, the most unspeakable violence is what’s happening BY NOT FREEING PALESTINE.
“Free Hong Kong” coming from fucking westerners is as disgusting as “Free Panama” was and “Free Texas” way back when. It means “free to be looted by US” and fuck everyone who still does the legwork for imperialists.
