A good and comfortable bluetooth headset is mandatory! 😸
I bought a pair of bone conducting headphones and those super light weight and comfortable. But I’m also someone who finds in ears very uncomfortable.
In ear buds hurt my ears. They actually cause pain so I don’t use them either. How well do the bone conducting headphones work? It’s kind of interesting that you bring up bone conducting headphones because I just qualified for a hearing implant surgery that’s supposed to use my skull to help amplify the ambient sound. It’s supposed to help because I’ve got profound hearing loss to the point where speech sounds garbled and indistinguishable. In order to watch TV, I have to use headphones or I cannot understand the dialog.
I have a pair of Sony WH-1000MX4 over the ear headphones, and I just got some Shokz OpenRun bone conduction headphones. They’re both great. I put some thicker pads on the Sonys, and they’re very comfortable. The Shokz are mainly for when I’m biking or need to take a call while driving (they don’t interfere with my helmet, and they leave my ears open). I also can’t use earbuds, they just don’t stay and they’re not comfortable.
