A $30 bidet changed my entire quality of life. Couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s been neat to see them popping up more in local stores, though. A decade ago, that was unheard of.
Yes! Bidet supremacy
I love My bidet
Got a link for that?
The one I bought was the Brondell SS-250. The SS-150 is just as good. My wife and lady friends either don’t use the front sprayer or don’t miss it on their 150 model.
I like that the pressure increases as you turn the handle instead of jumping up to a higher pressure like some other bidets. More control, less surprise. We’ve been asked about how the cold water is and frankly, we prefer it to the ones we’ve tried that have both hot and cold.
It was a decade ago, I doubt the same one is still available. Lucky, I have heard they are all about the same at that price point.
Like an actual bidet? Or an ass sprinkler that you attach to your toilet?
Question about those things: Where do you add the soap? Or are you just squirting water at your asshole and spreading the shit particles everywhere? You can’t get clean without soap, which is why I’ll stick to hopping in the shower to wash my ass after a nasty shit (unless of course these things actually do dispense soap; in which case I want one).
Edit: No I don’t take a shower after every shit; just rinse my ass off with body wash and the shower head.
…you really shower after every shit?
No, I just rinse my ass with the showerhead.
Soap is not required to clean anything. It’s great at removing oils and stains, but just plain water can clean your asshole just fine.
Next you’re going to tell me that you wash your hands without soap too.
Using soap is more effective, but not required to clean.
Bullshit. Washing without soap does nothing but spread germs around.
Quit making up excuses cause you’re lazy, and wash your hands with god damn soap.
I’m blocking you now cause I don’t want to see any more comments/posts from your nasty-ass in the future.
Here’s my recommendations:
-
UGREEN 100W USB C Charger, because it can charge my Switch - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091Z6JNX4
-
YKEY TS100 Soldering Iron, can be reflashed with Pinecil firmware from GitHub. - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FKY3Q1S
-
GlobalWin - 16302 Snow Boots, have held up really well since 2018 with occasional wear - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GUF5V3Y
Ts100 is great!
I’m very interested to know the improvements brought forth by flashing said firmware. Anyone with a tl:dr?
Leaving this for later: https://github.com/Ralim/IronOS
My favorite features:
- Temperature control
- Put the Iron to sleep if it doesn’t sense motion
- Put on a font that I can read.
- Better power usage on my external battery
Isn’t the pinecil cheaper? Why would you get this instead of the pinecil itself?
I was wondering this myself.
When I bought it a couple of years ago, it was significantly cheaper (I forget how much).
Flash firmware on a soldering iron. What a time.
I just turn the knob and it gets hotter. Then I turn it the knob the other way and it gets less hot. I’m not sure what other features you need.
Yeah and I’m not convinced a soldering iron is something everyone should have :)
I don’t even know how to solder
?? You don’t solder your own electronics? Even my late grandmother does
Still? That’s very impressive for a zombie.

Nothing. Amazon is an evil corporation, anti-labor, too large for anyone’s good, and deserves all the problems they have.
while what you said is true you cannot blame the working class for their lack of options. sometimes there is no alternative especially when the cost is pushed so low for the consumer. don’t blame people for being reasonable and picking the obvious choice of paying a lower price for an item. it’s the governments fault for not regulating these corporations appropriately. the working class controls so little of the wealth that “voting with your wallet” is not a real solution to anything. the only real solution involves a drastic change in our current economic system.
Yeah cool, anyways what item from Amazon would you recommend?
Lmao perfect response to that uncalled for preaching
I’d recommend a brain
Here you go. Enjoy.
I agree with the statement but some products I cannot get because they’re exclusively on amazon. The other alternatives would probably be ebay (they seem to not be allowing me to buy things because I’m on VPN), aliexpress, and alibaba.
However, if the product is a reasonable price on their own website then I would get.
Great to put one of these in your car for tire inflation wherever/whenever you need it:
Super important for dental hygiene. There’s better models like the waterpik but that wasn’t compatible in NZ and was like 4x the price. This works well and is good entry level.
The relief after removing stuck bits of mussel from my teeth is just amazing.
I tried one and it sucked. It couldn’t remove shit; just squirted water at my teeth.
I’ll stick to dental picks.
Bluetooth sleep mask. I’ve had a few and this one has been the best so far.
TOPOINT Sleep Headphones, Bluetooth Sleep Mask with Bluetooth Headphones, Sleeping Headphones for Side Sleepers Sleep Eye Mask Travel Music Headsets with Microphone Handsfree Men Women Girls Gifts https://a.co/d/51WLDZZ
I bought a different brand of this a few years ago, and despised it. It was super thin and the headphones would press into me painfully as I slept. Turns out it was just a cheap brand. Pulled the headphones out and put them inside a sleep mask I knitted myself. Absolutely in love with it now. So wonderful.
LPT: if there is a sketchy company name and the product description has poor English, you can get the item for like 1/3rd the price on AliExpress, Wish, Temu, etc.
Exactly. I’ve been calling Amazon, Alazon Express for a while now. XD
AliExpress gang
Yeah but shipping finna be 3-5 business months
I’ve never used Wish. But I’ve noticed an improvement in the past year or two on AliExpress and Temu seems even faster, but that’s probably because it’s well documented that they are losing shit tons of money trying to gain market share
No more grocery bag handles cutting off your circulation and hurting your hands while you carry them. These are under ten bucks and life changing.
I bought reusable shopping bags with wide handles, my wife and I try to avoid using plastic bags as much as possible
Plastic bags have been banned in NZ so no longer an issue here
Same in the US state of Maine.
I have something similar to these but these look better than what I have
They’re just big carabiners though…right?
Skyn Studded Condoms
They’re very expensive, but she’ll love them :)

Wowstick. One of my favorite tools for working on small electronics.
A manual hand pump water pump for 3 and 5 gallon jugs.
You can fill the 5 gallon jugs up for $1.25 at those watermill type stations in parking lots and car washes, you don’t need a big bulky water cooler, just a little plastic hand pump pneumatic water pump you slap on top. Endless, clean water real cheap, much cheaper than bottled water and as good, and you don’t throw away a ton of plastic.
Just get a regular bottle and fill it up from the tap, easy way not be forced to drink car wash water while saving money on shop bought bottled water.
What kind of tap water do you have at your house? Where I live, and everywhere I’ve lived, tap water sucks.
Not the person you replied to, but the PNW (OR, WA, and BC Canada) has some fantastic tap water. Seriously the best.
Is your tap broken?
Drink charcoal filtered, reverse osmosis water and then try drinking tap water after that. It’s disgusting. Also, you can’t guarantee it’s purity, most public tap water contains small amounts of benzine and pharmaceuticals that governments say are below safe levels, that’s sub par to my standard.
I used to say the same thing and drank tap water, then I tried filtered water for a while and theres no way I can go back. Try it.
My landlady put in a water filtration system for the whole house so I just drink water from the front of the fridge
That’s cool, well filtered water is great.
I agree, for work I fill up my brita waterbottle with the water from my fridge. Super filtered lol
What is a watermill station?
Well in a lot of places there are these reverse osmosis stations at grocery stores and car washes in parking lots, you put a quarter in and a gallon of water comes out, just bring your own bottle. It’s as good as bottled water you buy at the store.
A bathroom scale and a kitchen scale. Most people have no idea how much they weigh, nor how much food they’re eating.
The kitchen scale is super useful if you ever start making bread products. That said I avoid the scale for myself. Too depressing.
A good and comfortable bluetooth headset is mandatory! 😸
I bought a pair of bone conducting headphones and those super light weight and comfortable. But I’m also someone who finds in ears very uncomfortable.
In ear buds hurt my ears. They actually cause pain so I don’t use them either. How well do the bone conducting headphones work? It’s kind of interesting that you bring up bone conducting headphones because I just qualified for a hearing implant surgery that’s supposed to use my skull to help amplify the ambient sound. It’s supposed to help because I’ve got profound hearing loss to the point where speech sounds garbled and indistinguishable. In order to watch TV, I have to use headphones or I cannot understand the dialog.
I have a pair of Sony WH-1000MX4 over the ear headphones, and I just got some Shokz OpenRun bone conduction headphones. They’re both great. I put some thicker pads on the Sonys, and they’re very comfortable. The Shokz are mainly for when I’m biking or need to take a call while driving (they don’t interfere with my helmet, and they leave my ears open). I also can’t use earbuds, they just don’t stay and they’re not comfortable.
Ikea ladda batteries, if manufactured in Japan, are identical to eneloop. Guy who did the testing: https://youtu.be/Jeo_hv-8bHI
… I did not know that. Good tip!
