A lot of big fantasy games have a blending of a myriad of mythology. Like everything is inspired by something that came from somewhere. D&D, and by extension many videos games using the rules and settings, is among those included. They have things ranging from typical Anglo-Saxon myths to Japanese kappa, Egyptian gods, and more.

I just started it up yesterday, and went to bed right after their big fight. So it does sound like that was supposed to happen. Now I wonder if I could have avoided being arrested. Like I have failed every single speech check the game has given me, and I know at least 2 things could have been way different than it ended up going because of those failures. lol

I am playing that, and I don’t know if the story always goes this way, or if I just suck so bad at speech craft and the game changed based on my dialogue failures, but Hans and Henry hate each other now.

At least games make sense, as the graphics get better. Though in some cases, the compression is also better. Like PS5 games are smaller on average than their PS4 versions, even though they have higher resolution textures in most cases, just because the PS5 has better compression/decompression tech.

Yeah that sounds like a you problem. Most people use it to just mean “ok.” But I mean, if you said “mom just died 😭” and you get “👍” as a reply, that one’s probably rude.

It’s not an MLM or pyramid scheme; it is regular sales employment. You’re not getting other people to sell them for you nor are you encouraged to find others looking to join the sales team. It just sucks dick because the pay is shit (and they go through hoops to pay you less or nothing; which is where the scam part comes in), they treat you like shit, and you have to basically sell them door-to-door.

It’s stupid because the knives are great products; I still have my sample set because they actually rock. They just only sell them like Tupperware clubs and only market them via word of mouth. They’d be making bank if they just sold them to retailers instead of fucking with young people looking for their first job.

If you’re looking for a job, stay the fuck away from anything dealing with “CutCo” or “Vector Marketing.”

Edit: Its not really a pyramid scheme… They just do everything they can to weasel out of giving you your paycheck on payday and because it’s sales commission, I don’t think they have to follow minimum wage laws since you’re not paid hourly.

Unless they’ve seriously changed how it fundamentally works (this was when I was 18). They never encouraged or paid extra for getting others to sell for you, like a typical MLM thing.
