You have explained a key part of the urban vs. rural divide. My kids are so “race blind” I have to make a concerted effort to teach them about all types of racism, direct through to institutional. Also euality vs. equity etc. It’s way easier to teach them about income inequality.
I know a few people closely that I’d consider a genius. I only know one that went into a field where their genius mattered. He changed fundamentals of microbiology. One high school dropout, one just surviving and making decent money doing whatever they try.
So many laws would have to change, and the FDA would need about 1,000x the people and money. I’m all for it, but it’s an unsolvable problem. If it is something taken orally, including food, it can basically only ever be a reactive response to people dying.
Basically same. I don’t know if being ambidextrous is something you can be born with. I broke arms, wrists, fingers enough that functionality I had to be able to use both hands in school and sports.

Depends so much on the kid. One learned about negative numbers when he was 6 and understood it immediately, including using them in sums, and absolute value. The other is this meme exactly in 3rd grade.
